2023-2024 Challenge
"The Wind" and/or "The Night Sky" - challenge presented by Sherri K.
When I think of wind, I imagine: pinwheels, kites, birds soaring on the breeze, leaves blowing, flags, sailboats...
And the night sky could be depicted by: stars, Northern Lights, a sunset, winter sky/snowflakes...
These are only a few of the ideas that come to mind, depicting the theme. Your imagination might suggest many more. Example: if you wish to use 'leaves blowing in the wind', your challenge quilt could be as simple as a table runner or a wall hanging, using three or four blocks, each with an appliqued leaf or paper-pieced leaf, etc., or one leaf featured in the center of your piece.
Your challenge project must not exceed 120" perimeter. It needs to be quilted and bound and ready for reveal at the 2024 meeting.
